Starting point: The sexagesimal base 60 positional numeral system enumerated 60 minutes and 360°

Degrees arc minutes arc seconds can be converted to the decimal degrees format (latitude and longitude.)

Topocentric vs. geocentric coordinates. Topocentric uses the observer's [location] as the reference point for bearings in altitude and azimuth.
There's also a vigesimal base 20 numeral system

The way of beginnings are wrong!
You can never determine a starting point accurately in science. Beginnings and endings only exist for analytical purposes.
Typically, we start at #lv1 with a 'baseline'. Only when we reach the finish line at #lv12 will the perception be scrutinized as to whether we got off for a good start. And #lv0 A/rises to #initiate a revision of a good beginning.
